FROM PISA:
Drive towards Florence on the free-toll highway 'Firenze-Pisa-Livorno'
(superstrada veloce FI-PI-LI) and take the exit Montelupo
Fiorentino.
Drive through Montelupo, cross the bridge on the Pesa
river and - at the end of it - turn left.
FROM FLORENCE:
Drive towards Pisa on the free-toll highway 'Firenze-Pisa-Livorno'
(superstrada veloce FI-PI-LI) and take the exit Ginestra
Fiorentina.
At the STOP sign, turn left towards Montelupo Fiorentino.
Here turn right just before the bridge on the Pesa
river.
THEN:
Pass in front of the Hotel Baccio and - at the crossing
- stright under the narrow and low railway tunnel,
next to the railway station.
Now cross the bridge on the Arno river, drive through
Capraia and on to Limite.
At the round-about, turn right in Via Palandri following
signs for Castra, Carmignano, Prato, Montalbano, etc.
drive for approx 200 mt and, just past the crossroad
with Via Ridolfi, turn left at the signs 'Fattoria
Castellina' and 'Cantine Aperte'.
Drive onto the unpaved road, turn round the corner
and park next to the large tree in the middle of a
large courtyard. The entrance is at the top of the
paved slope
