From motorway A1 (Milano-Roma) :
1. Leave the motorway at Firenze Signa and follow
the signs for Pisa-Livorno (is a dual carriageway
superstrada no tolls) and exit the superstrada at
Empoli Ovest
2. At the end of the slip road at the roundabout turn
right towards Siena. At the forked junction turn right
towards Fucecchio. Follow this road for approx, 1.5km
going over the railway line, going straight over at
the traffic lights and over the bridge to a roundabout.
Turn right here following signs to Cerreto Guidi
4. Drive for 1.3km then take the left turn for Cerreto
Guidi
3. Drive uphill towards Cerreto for 2.6km and take
the exit signed for Stabbia into Cerreto Guidi.
5. At the next small roundabout take the 2nd exit
off (streight over), and go to small set of trafic
lights. Turn right for Vinci.
6. Drive 1.2km along this road to a left turn for
Via Sommiano, turn left here and follow the untarmaced
road for approx. 400m to La Colombaia. At the gates
turn left into the car park.
From motorway A12 (Genova-Livorno):
1. Exit Pisa Centro following the blue signs for Firenze
and exit the superstrada at Empoli Ovest
3. At the end of the slip road at the roundabout turn

(superstada, no tolls) following blue sign for Firenze
2. Drive approx. 30 mins and exit the superstrada
at Empoli Ovest
3. At the end of the slip road at the roundabout turn
right towards Siena. At the forked junction turn right
towards Fucecchio. Follow this road for approx, 1.5km

the traffic lights and over the bridge to a roundabout.
