The holiday farm “CORTE IN
POGGIO” is set on a low hill, in a typical Tuscan
landscape.
Our house, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards,
lies in the small village of Stabbia, in the district
of Cerreto Guidi, an ancient Tuscan borough and centre
of an historical Medici Villa.
We are between two areas of a great interest and character:
to the east, the typical terraced hills of Montalbano
area; to the west the Padule Oasis of Fucecchio, the
largest inland march in Italy where you can be amazed
by lot of animal species and lacustre? plants, and
where you can admire storks which have recently come
back to the area to nest, a unique sight in Italy!

The
countryside and the landscape preserve their centuries
old harmony, giving our guests the opportunity
to relax truly in nature without renouncing the
comfort we put at their disposal in our house.
From Corte in Poggio, you can rapidly and easily
reach the old boroughs of Vinci, Leonardo’s
birthplace, or that of San Miniato.
Besides we are not far away from the main exceptional
Tuscan art cities of Firenze, Pisa, San Gimignano,
Volterra and Lucca (all about 35-40 Km from here)
and Siena (70 Km).
