THE GOLF IN
ITALY

Golf was invented
by roman soldiers, with english shepereds enjoied
hunting rabbits and hares ,with stones hit by
sticks, that became the aristocratic game of
England nation.
In Italy golf was born in Florence, where there
was a big English communty and Rome has still
the oldest golf-course, but the first golf on
the sea was made in Venice.
It's nice that these trhee cities are still
contesting the supremacy on a sport which Mussolini
defined " a game not for Italiens".
These italians cities are know for other "records",
rather than golf, such as art, history, culture.
Since 90th in Italy the golf association Federgolf
took en important development policy, allowing
golf to grow up more ant more.Today we are closed
to 100.00 players.
